 Happy Global Love Day!
"All you need is love," John Lennon sang it the best - "Love, it's easy!"
I love the month of May because it carries many romantic connotations.
Spring is in full bloom in the northern hemisphere, symbolizing new beginnings and the awakening of nature, which can be metaphorically linked to love and romance.
Additionally, May hosts several cultural celebrations and holidays associated with love, such as May Day and Global Love Day on the 1st of May, and Mother's Day on the 12th May. It's a time when people express affection and appreciation for their loved ones amidst the beauty of nature's renewal.
I also love how the 4th May has become an iconic day for Star Wars fans worldwide, celebrated as "Star Wars Day" with the pun "May the Fourth be with you." It's a fun way for fans to come together to celebrate the beloved franchise, share their passion for the galaxy far, far away, and enjoy various Star Wars-themed activities.
And World Tarot Day on 25th May is an occasion dedicated to the appreciation and exploration of Tarot cards and their significance. It's a day for Tarot enthusiasts to deepen their understanding of the cards, share insights, and perhaps engage in special events or readings. Tarot has a rich history and symbolism, and World Tarot Day provides an opportunity for people to delve into its mysteries and contemplate its meanings.

 May Forecast
Taurus is the main central theme for this month, even though Taurus energy is earthy and grounded there is a lot going on this month and its complicated.
Taurus does indeed carry that fertile energy its ruled by Venus afterall, and a deep connection to nature. Taurus individuals often have a strong appreciation for the beauty of the natural world and may find solace and inspiration in spending time outdoors or working with natural materials.
Overall, Taurus energy embodies qualities of steadfastness, perseverance, and a deep connection to the physical world, making them reliable and trustworthy companions in both personal and professional settings.
A very powerful energy this month with Venus moving into Taurus at the same time that Mars is moving into Aries, giving us both an assertive, dynamic, action-oriented energy as well as elegance, grace and beauty.
 Mars in Aries
From 1 May - 10 June, Mars is in Aries. Mars rules Aries. Aries is the Greek name and Mars is the Roman name for the God of War. It's fiery, masculine and action oriented energy.
The positive manifestation on how to use Mars to its fullest and highest potential is to tap into the bravey, confident, determined and courageous side, so that you can improve your life and move in the right direction.
This is generally not a time for sitting still; rather, it is restless energy that wants to be released and you need to get moving and get into action.
The negative shadow aspects of Mars in Aries may manifest as narcissism, selfishness, frustration, rage, and impatience. For instance, you may see strong, angry emotions when people post on social media, or you may see people driving furiously, even road rage.
Know that you don't have to play out this version, be mindful of this energy so you can redirect it and use it from the highest levels. You can tap into your inner confidence, believe in yourself and stand in your power. Now that's powerful!
 New Moon in Taurus
On 8 May, we have a New Moon in Taurus. What adds more potency to this New Moon are the 4 other planets also in Taurus. There is Jupiter, Uranus, the Sun and Venus. This is the making of a very grounded concentration of energy, that beautiful earthly tempo of frequency that is in sync with the universe.
This is what makes the energy of Taurus so wonderful, it's serene energy, which is lovely, patient, steady, determined, focused, consistent, and practical. Tap into this amazing energy. Let it nourish you, go for a walk outdoors, be in nature, hug a tree, or just take a moment to relax and breathe.
Remember that Mars is in Aries for this whole month, therefore we have that fiery, potent action energy working in the background. When you merge these two forces together, the action energy of Mars with your focused, pragmatic, grounded, and patient nature of Taurus, you can really make progress and powerfully manifest in your life.
 Venus in Taurus
On 30 April - 24 May, Venus moves into Taurus. Venus, the planet of love, beauty, and harmony is very much at home in its own sign of Taurus. Venus enhances the qualities of Taurus and allows them to flourish, such as sensuality, stability, and an appreciation for the finer things in life.
When Venus is in Taurus, there's a deep sense of comfort and ease in expressing affection and enjoying life's pleasures. There's a natural inclination towards beauty and aesthetics, as well as a desire for stability and security in relationships. Taurus's patient and grounded nature blends well with Venus's graceful and harmonious energy, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and contentment.
People with prominent Taurus or Venus placements in their astrological charts often have a strong appreciation for art, music, and the comforts and pleasurable things of life, even doing the gardening. They may also approach relationships with a steady and reliable demeanor, valuing loyalty and commitment.

 Full Moon in Sagittarius
On 24 May, we have a Full Moon in Sagittarius. A very potent Full Moon, aren't they always!
This Full Moon is opposite the Sun in Gemini, both bring a playful, pleasant and fun energy. Also, there are many planets in the sign of Taurus working in the background, Mercury, Uranus, Jupiter and Venus making for a very strong earthy energy statement.
While the Full Moon in Sagittarius is making its own statement, the conjunction of Venus and Jupiter at that powerful 29 degrees, known as the anaretic degree, is what makes this Full Moon truly powerful. Note that Jupiter rules Sagittarius. Both Venus and Jupiter will both move into Gemini after the Full Moon.
So we have Jupiter's final moments in Taurus and since Jupiter is the largest planet, it is known to expand or enhance the frequency of whatever sign it is transiting. Venus and Jupiter are conjunct and sextile to Neptune which is also at 29 degrees. All you need to know about this is that this Full Moon will have a strong beautiful flow of harmony, spirituality and grace. Step forth in beauty and bring that high spiritual vibration of love into everything you do.
 Jupiter in Gemini
On 26 May, Jupiter moves into Gemini and remains there for a whole year. All you Gemini's out there, you have the opportunity to expand and grow in a beautiful way.
Gemini rules our fundamental neurological system, the way we think, our core beliefs, and our ability to communicate. Also, our communication within our relationships, new ideas may pop into your head, just like that. Your mind is activated and switched on, so expect some sort of growth in all these areas.
The shadow side that we need to be mindful of is making sure we manage our nervous system well. Watch what we say to others, maybe think before you speak. If your chart has strong Gemini aspects, this Jupiter in Gemini may cause some grief to a busy mind that has difficulty in switching off, it could allow for excessive overthinking. There could be too much information gathering and not enough dissemination. Pay attention to your breathing and recognise when your thought process has veered off its path into analysis paralysis.
The positives are so wonderful, communication goes to the next level. Great time to energise and manifest new ideas, you may experience some brilliant thinking, understanding new thoughts and insights.
Challenging core foundational beliefs can be a powerful catalyst for personal growth and transformation. It's through questioning and examining our beliefs that we can gain deeper insights into ourselves and the world around us. By reassessing what we hold to be true, we open ourselves up to new perspectives and opportunities for growth.

Every month, I turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.
These two Tarot cards are loaded on my Tarot Mastery private Facebook group for students of Tarot in Action to explore the meanings and share their insights.
~ I asked the Tarot cards what is the energy for May 2024?
~ What do we need to be mindful of for this entire month so we can make the most of it?
I turned over Ace of Pentacles in the Conscious position, and Towers in the Unconscious position.
  Summary...
We have two very exciting cards for this month, The Ace of Pentacles and a major arcana, The Tower.
It seems we have a period of significant contrast between external growth and internal transformation. Rich with values and growth on the surface, while underneath or on the innerside, there's a process of breaking down established norms and core beliefs.
It's intriguing how these two dynamics can coexist, suggesting a complex and dynamic personal journey.
Ace of Pentacles
We have the hand of Spirit offering us the most beautiful pentacle. It is ripe with potential for significant victories, abundance, and the manifestation of your desires. Embracing this energy could lead to powerful outcomes and profound growth.
You can see the completed maincured garden, it's not the beginning of a garden. This garden belongs to the Magician, you can see the red roses, that symbolise desires and passions, and the white lilies that symbolise purity and the ideal.
The archway is totally covered over with the red rose vine, and through it we can see the blue mountians that connect us with spiritual aspirations and the High Priestess energy.
The Tower
In the unconscious position, we have The Tower energy, suggesting there is an upheavel of sorts. Our very foundations are being jolted, reshaped and the opportunity to rebuild stronger.
Even though many people when they see this card see the negative view first, I see it as very positive energy. It suggests a release, a freedom and letting go of old stuck fossilised energy thereby bringing about new insights and ultimately new stronger foundations.
