I remember I used to go camping over the Easter break. Then it turned into doing readings at many festivals, my favourite was the 4 day Mind Body Soul Festival in Tasmania. Now I am enjoying time at home catching up on all those jobs that need a few days to accomplish.
Easter is a significant religious time for Christians, symbolising themes of life, death and rebirth. The symbolism of Easter includes the death of Jesus on Good Friday, his burial, and his resurrection on Easter Sunday, which is celebrated as the triumph of life over death and the fulfillment of divine prophecy. The Easter egg represents the new life, the promise of redemption and eternal life.
Another life, death, rebirth symbol we pay homage to in April is the ANZAC'S. We honor and pay our respects to all those that have given their lives, so that we can live the life we have today. Lest we forget.
Whatever you get round to doing this Easter long weekend, enjoy yourselves to the fullest before the colder winter months creep in. May the Easter bunny bring you many yumo chocolates and hope you spend quality time with your family and loved ones.

April Forecast
 The most powerful month of the year is without a doubt April. There is a lot going on, and it is strongly associated with all that Aries fiery energy.
The positive Aries aspects contributes a vibrant vitality. It is all about pioneering, warrior spirit, courage and boldness energy.
The shadow side brings tension and stress. Sometimes we may tend to play out our shadow side in order to explore this aspect of ourselves.
Be mindful that the more stressed out the shadowy side of this sign is, the more you see the self-centered, narcissistic, egotistical, and overly aggressive aspects.
Mercury Retrograde
 On 1 April, Mercury in Aries begins the retrograde cycle until 26 April. Note that Mercury, the ruler of your mind and intellect, will remain in Aries until mid May.
First things first though: Mercury retrograde is nothing to be terrified of. Its purpose is to provide us with a chance to be introspect and become internally aware of our thought processes.
Be mindful that you may be mentally stressed or overly worrying throughout this time, give yourself the timeout to breathe. You may also have some new and exciting mental breakthroughs, you will definitely have the energy to handle things.
Retrograde Mercury in Aries is a highly productive mental time, thus this is a fantastic thing. It is going to be a very strong time for you to reflect on your own levels of inner bravery, courage, independence, and self-reliance. An opportunity for self-care. It is at this point that we recognise our needs and act to fulfil them. It's at this point that we start to think independently.
New Moon in Aries Total Solar Eclipse
 On 8 April we have a New Moon in Aries and a Total Solar Eclipse. We have a total solar eclipse, the new moon in Aries along with Mercury in Retrograde in Aries.
This combination is making a statement, it is conveying to us that we must examine our perception of our own inner potential, our belief in who we are, and our feeling of our inner capabilities.
The message is clear, it revolves around our capacity for self-sufficiency, our bravery, courage and our independence. You must stand up bravely and realise that you are a strong, a self-aware person. You are strong from the inside out, mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. This is all about confronting our fears and acting upon them accordingly.
Jupiter Conjuncts Uranus
 On 20 April, Jupiter conjuncts Uranus. After the total eclipse, we have this full on exciting conjunction of Jupiter expanding the electrical energy of Uranus,
March marked the beginning of this conjunction, and we will be feeling the effects through until May, when Jupiter finally enters Gemini. The reason this Jupiter-Uranus conjunction is so amazing is that it highlights our growth process, an opportunity to expand and grow from our experiences.
Essentially, since Uranus entered Taurus in 2018, we have been learning about being in the now, in present time. Taurus is about being grounded and earthed. When we are present we open ourselves to receiving breakthrough messages from the universe. When we are present, the messages are louder and clearer. You can't receive strong messages from the universe when your mind is preoccupied with the past or the future.
Jupiter conjunct Uranus is reassuring you that you can return to the now, in the present time, and navigate through life with powerful information that appears precisely when you need it.
Furthermore, since Taurus prefers to feel in control and plans by being tied to things happening a certain way, Uranus always breaks up that stagnation and stuck energy. Jupiter in Taurus, is attempting to free us from our limiting beliefs surrounding the need for control.
With all of this Aries energy activating earlier this month—which says to be in the flow to know you can handle what is right in front of you because you are present and all of your senses are active—it frees us up to flow in the moment and expands us beyond our comfort zones right now. Simply put - have faith in yourself!
Full Moon in Scorpio
 On 23 April. we have a Full Moon in Scorpio. The Sun is currently in Taurus, opposing the Scorpion full moon. Additionally, the full moon is squaring Pluto, and we've had a powerful Aries energy all month, Jupiter conjuncts Uranus, Mars and Neptune conjunct in Pisces with Saturn nearby.
It's a very full on time! This combination of planets really reflects what an incredible and momentous period we are all currently living in.
The highest purpose of this full moon in Scorpio is to concentrate on our current tasks at hand, getting clarity and focus, then letting it all go and handing it over to the universe, thus going with the flow.
It implies that you state what your beliefs are and then giving the universe your command to fulfil them, this is referred to as actively manifesting in your life. You surrender your order to the universe after you have faith in what you need it to be.
This is the magic of Scorpio's full moon. Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, which is a very potent and transformational sign. Now, speak honestly about what you need, let the power pass through you unadulterated, open yourself fully and act as a conduit, to allow the power to pass through you and then out into the real world.

Every month, I turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.
These two Tarot cards are loaded on my Tarot Mastery private Facebook group for students of Tarot in Action to explore the meanings and share their insights.
~ I asked the Tarot cards what is the energy for this April 2024?
~ What do we need to be mindful of for this entire month?
I turned over 5 of Wands in the Conscious position, and Justice in the Unconscious position.
  Summary...
Looks like there are a few worries, or upsetting moments or unexpected changes in the beginning of the month, but this opens us up to viewing things from different perspectives.
By the end of the month, looks like we have weighed up all our options and have become very clear, focused and confident with the right direction we need to take.
5 of Wands
This is a fun, active and energising card. You can see a group of 5 people all wearing different colours, all representing their gifts and talents, all wanting to contribute something.
This card is definitely action energy, no one is really sure of themselves, you can also see the ground is uneven suggesting instabiliy or changes for many opportunities are available.
The number 5 is about change, freedom and movement, the ability to change to new circumstances. Spirit of growth and evolution, the ability to embrace new experiences and grow from them. Liberation and adventure, the ability to step out of one's comfort zone.
Justice
The Justice card speaks of balance, the scales is a big give away. I like how there is the third eye in the crown, suggesting we can see the truth for ourselves. In the modern Justice image, we usually have a women wearing a blindfold.
The base of the card is grey indicating wisdom, and look at the strong platform the throne is sitting on. No more confusion, no more instabilihy, but a strong foundation based on your truth.
Whether its the third eye in the crown chakra or a blinfold, the idea is that we go within and balance our mental and emotional states, before arriving at a clear distinction.

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC
 The date was set for the 2023 Annual LunaBears picnic. Thank you to Mastersons Bar for holding a fabulous space for our picnic. A much heartfelt thank you to all that attended and thank you to everyone that contributed.
We raised $690 in October 2023
The funds raised go directly to the Bear Sanctuary in Luang Prabang, Laos, through the Free The Bears org with the resolve to end Bear bile farming forever!
