 I always remember that the month of May is all about love. We start the month with Global Love Day on the 1 May, followed by Mother's Day celebrated on the 14 May, this year.
Love is the Key:
* Light a small red candle.
* Make yourself a sweet cup of tea.
* As you drink it, repeat the following phrase:
I shape my world as I perservere,
I am open to love that is true and sincere.
Now, all you need to do is to share your love with everyone around you, it's not hard to do becuase you are made of love, and birthed in love. Have an amazing month ahead!

Plenty of breakthroughs and profound learnings for May. The activity is profound and intense. Stability, concentration, and learning in how to control your thoughts and actions before letting go and surrendering them over to the universe. It's a lovely thing to receive breakthroughs and insights when you need them.
 On 5 May, we have Full Moon Eclipse in Scorpio. Water sign Scorpio loves to dig deep. It is fixed like Taurus yet flowing with emotion, passion, and intensity.
This Full Moon in Scorpio is challenging us to dig deep and identify a purpose. You may meditate to penetrate the depths and ask yourself the following questions: What do you now desire to accomplish? Where can you direct your tremendous, passionate energy so that it has purpose?
This Full Moon Eclipse is enhanced with Venus square Neptune, and the Sun conjunct Uranus. This will foster increased sensitivity, strong intuition, profound creativity, and spirituality. Pay attention to all this energy, it will be quite powerful, you will feel it in the air. Perfect time to compose a poem, creating some art, or practising a specific meditation.
In addition, we also have Mars in Cancer squaring Jupiter in Aries. Mars in Cancer seeks to mother the most and plainly seeks to nourish and caretake. Make sure you selfcare first before offering it to others. Jupiter will want to expand all this heartfelt, beautiful energy. Mars in Cancer seeks to feel connected to others and during this Full Moon Eclipse, it will be extremely potent.
 On 7 May, we have Venus at 0 degrees of Cancer and the Sun conjunct Uranus on 9 May. There will be a lot of spark and electricity produced by this mixture. For this reason, all of the breakthroughs, insights, innovations and realisations are made available to us. Begins with the Full Moon Eclipse, it becomes exact by the 9 May.
This could be a "light bulb" moment, a burst of knowledge, or fresh original thought coming though. However, it will also make it clear to you, especially if you have experienced a lot of change over the past few years, the entire month of May will assist you in processing, assimilating, and gaining understanding of the process of letting go and allowing the new to come in.
 On 7 May, when Venus enters Cancer at 0 degrees, it will be strengthened and perhaps even amplifide because it will hit the Aries Point, which is at 0 degrees of any cardinal sign, even though it will only be exact for the one day. The Aries Point activation will raise awareness of something in the public eye, this will aid you in new breakthroughs and insights.
The cosmos wants to communicate with you and aid in your understanding. Your responsibility is to pay attention, recognise the messages, because they can take on many different forms, you might feel them or hear them. You might see symbols, experience intense dreams, or have random thoughts that pop into your consciousness. You will hear the universe talking to you or receiving signals in some other way, so be open and receptive.
So much activation of the Taurus energy and fixed sign energy. Started with the Full Moon Eclipse in Scorpio, note that Scopio is the polarity of Taurus. The Sun conjunct Uranus, Mercury finishing its retrograde period mid month in Taurus and Jupiter will also enter Taurus.
 On 16 May, Jupiter enters Taurus. Taurus is very grounded, practical and earthy, this is offered by all the fixed signs, but with Taurus in particular.
Jupiter's entry into Taurus at the middle of the month enforces this. It moved into a fixed earth sign after finishing its transit from the flamboyant sign of Aries with a lot of momentum and activity. Observe significant dynamic changes. We shall experience growth when our life becomes more stable and focused, we will feel an entirely new rhythm for our lives.
 On 19 May, we have New Moon in Taurus. The New Moon will bring in a laser-like focus and Taurus will bring in the steadfast energy. There is a lot of fertility and growth that wants to happen. Thus it is truly a beautiful and wonderful energy, remember that Venus rules Taurus.
Taurus is highly practical, grounded, and steady-going. It also possesses the phemnominal stamina and endurance to work slowly, steadily and persistently towards its goals. You will sense and feel this beautiful assured energy entering your world.
 On 20 May, we have Mars transit into Leo and Mars will also oppose Pluto. Mars moves into Leo, where it will stay until 11 July.
We must now concentrate on shining out there, maybe appearing in public, and being present. Assuming a position of leadership and not being afraid to be seen.
On this same day, Mars will also be in opposition to Pluto, this requires management, so take the initiative, ground yourself in your heart chakra, and exercise good leadership.
It's time to empower oneself through love. This will ensure you work your Leo energy in Mars nicely in opposition to Pluto. We can't guarantee how others will go about it, but you can maintian yourself and be in this lovely mode, shining brightly with good visibility.
When you can sit comfortably with yourself and say, I can do it with stability, focus, and inner empowerment, and that it's OK for me to shine and lead. Then it won't flow into the egotistical outburst that Leos occasionally experience.

Every month I turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.
I asked the Tarot cards:
What is the energy for the month of May 2023?
What do we need to be mindful of for this entire month?
I turned over the 6 of Wands in the Conscious position and The Chariot in the Unconscious position.
  I have noticed that a Major Arcana card keeps showing up each month, and for this month we also have horses in both cards.
Horses have to do with movement, a very masculine, action oriented energy and your vehicle through life. They also represent that its currently happening right now. So I expect lots of forward moving motion for the month of May.
Whatever you have been thinking about, the 6 of Wands indicates you are having very successful thoughts. You are also being supported, look at all the people in the backgraound cheering you on. Maybe you know what you want to do already because the rider wears a wreath around his head, suggesting excellent winning results with his ideas and plans.
There is also another wreath on top the of the wand that he holds in his right hand, suggesting he knows what skill to use to win this battle, he is concious of what he needs to do. He is very prepared, ready and armed, he is just waiting for that moment to go.
Then the story moves into The Chariot unconscious energy, and he is always charging forward, you can still see the victory wreath around his head.
For The Chariot to be successful, he has to be on top of everything, he is mentally balanced, this is shown by the blue wings on the front of the chariot. These blue wings connects to Horus the Eygptian God of the sky, often portrayed with a head of a hawk.
The Chariot itself looks like a heavy solid block of cement, suggesting he is very stable and grounded. He is very organised and knows how to protect his integrity. Look at how many layers of protection he wears; there are the 2 horses out front, the sold grey Chariot that he stands in, the armor that protects his pure heart and the canopy shielding his back.
Summary
Whatever is being held back, get ready to push through it all. Whatever was stagnating, start preparing for a release and for things to move forward again. This is so very typical of Mercury retrograde energy, and we did enter May with Mercury in retrograde. Mercury retrograde gives us time to reflect on things, maybe giving you time to mentally prepare before you get into action.

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC @ MASTERSONS BAR
 Thank you to everyone that kindly donated to our LunaBears for 2022!
We did something different this year, we met at a bar, Mastersons Bar. We all brought a plate to share and it was lovely catching up with everyone. Those that couldn't make it, kindly donated.
We raised $540 in October 2022
The funds raised goes directly to the Bear Sanctuary in Luang Prabang, Laos, through the Free The Bears organisation with the resolve to end Bear bile farming forever!
