Many of you already know that I have been volunteering for the GENI Foundation for the past 30 years. Every World Environment Day we have our Annual Comedy Gala Fundraiser.

The purpose being: to share our solutions to our global problems, to raise funds for our two projects, to celebrate our wins for the year and have a fun night out together.

I understand we still have a long way to go with cleaning things up in our environment. 1. Astrological Forecast for the Month

The Gemini season has arrived. Gemini has a changeable modality and is an air sign. It's nice to have this malleable, flexible energy right now since it promotes adaptability. It greatly benefits Gemini's because they will have strong communication energy and flexibility in their thinking.

In June, we have the opportunity to make the distinction between the dynamics of service, selflessness, and connection with the inner power vs ego, greed, and that attachment to the outside forces and power.

What makes it even more significant, Venus will enter Leo and begin an extended transit because it will go retrograde. Venus will also be supported by Mars in Leo.

Then Pluto will make a powerful statement when it retrogrades back into Capricorn, it will hit that critical "pressure point" anaretic degree, making a strong point about correcting our hierarchical structures and our power issues, so we are coming from compassion and not driven by ego and greed.

Old practises and structures are focused on power and greed, they have to evolve, it's time to incorporate heart into what we do.

On 3 June, we have a Full Moon in Sagittarius. Sagittarius is the polarity to Gemini. Sagittarius, is a fire sign with the mutable modality. It's time to put this action and adventurous energy to use. Great time to exercise and get some sunshine, embark on an adventure, use our body in some way.

To add to all this Full Moon energy, we have the Sun in Gemini, Moon in Sagittarius, and Saturn in Pisces forming a Tsquare. This emphasises the necessity for adjustment so that we are not only analysing and communicating with that Gemini energy, but also acting to bring about our new ideas, which are coming from Sagittarius. Then Saturn in Pisces gives everything a sense of fluidity and trust, asking us to establish a connection of compassion with the universe, and with the divine. 

This dynamic Tsquare is crucial, it is pushing us to a very deep level. It encourages us to reflect, analysis, and communicate deeply, to take action with flow. In other words, surendering to the universe.

On 5 June through to 8 October, we have Venus entering Leo. Venus often only spends a few weeks in a sign, but because of the retrograde period in this case, it will stay in Leo until 8 October.

Venus only retrogrades every two years, and when it does, we get to experience a magnificent beautiful extended energy of peace, love, and harmony.

It seems as though we are being blessed further. What a blessing it is that we get to experience Venus is in the sign of Leo. Leo connects us to our confidence and heart chakra. Venus in Leo challenges us to express our love with confidence.

Radiate your leadership qualities to the world through your heart, operate with beauty and confidence. You can decide to open your heart and let your inner beauty shine to the world.

On 11 June, we have Mercury entering Gemini.  Mercury likes being in Gemini, feels comfortable in its native sign. Mercury is in its talkative chatty phase right now.

Fabulous time to send a lovely email or card to a friend. Say something kind to others and employ that Mercury energy since that also triggers the Venus in Leo energy.

Your thoughts may be quite clear during this time, which is advantageous when negotiating, closing transactions, learning new things, and participating in discussions.

Also on 11 June, Pluto re-enters Capricorn until 24 January 2024. Pluto is in retrograde and moves back into Capricorn and hits that critical "Peak Performance," anaretic degree of 29 degrees again.

Some people may find this time to be a very uncomfortable, since they will sense that something needs to change, and who likes change? Nobody likes change, right.

The power structures within ourselves need to be altered in order to give way to the new emerging energy, it is time to restructure. You will be OK if you just breathe through it and go with the flow, claim your strength, claim your own sense of empowerment.

In the outer world, organisations, governments, and cooperations that do not combine love with power will experience the change, may be forced to make adjustments.

Mid month on 17 June, we have Saturn in Pisces going retrograde. Saturn is known as the Hard Task Master, it is a very earthy, practical and grounded energy.

But while Saturn is travelling through Pisces we have the chance to internalise the connection to the divine that Pisces gives us, integrating intuition, flow, and working on your breath. Make sure your breathing is on top of your to do list and engage in mindful breathing, you can do this through practising meditation. This is a wonderful way to bring through the love and that dreamy creative energy of Pisces

On 18 June, we have a New Moon in Gemini. This New Moon is also known as the "affirmation moon" because it allows us to reflect on our inner values.

It also makes us super mindful of how important our words truly are, how they affect our own mind, how they affect those we love and other people around us.

Wonderful time to turn to your journal and write down your thoughts, put that pen to paper, maybe write some poetry, spend some time being creative, you may come up with some fabulous ideas!

On 26 June, Mercury enters Cancer. We just have had our Winter Solstice on 21 June, the Sun also has moved into Cancer and now we have Mercury that has entered Cancer as well.

Mercury likes to fidget, keep things moving to make things happen. While Mercury is traveling through Cancer, you may be thinking on a much deeper level, or having deeper conversations.

This is the ideal time for whatever needs to enter the new cycle, anything that has to be revealed, anything that needs public projection will take place now.

Also on the 26 June, Mars will square Uranus. Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury, we are looking at high voltage energy with this combination of planets. Mars will just fire up all that mental activity, you may actually accomplish extraordinary things with Mars square Uranus.

Squares don't necessarily have to be a negative experience. I quite like squares because they create tension and this pushes us to move.

On a personal level, by saying "I'm ready for adventure" and "I'm ready to have spontaneous and wonderful things happen in my life" will help you prepare and be ready for the magic that can happen here.

But, also be prepared to change course as well. If you need to pivot, then do it confidently. Just be prepared for beautiful unexpected things to occur.

2. Tarot Cards Insight into the Energy of the Month...

Every month I turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.

I asked the Tarot cards: What is the energy for the month of June 2023?
What do we need to be mindful of for this entire month?

I turned over Judgement in the Conscious position and The Hierophant in the Unconscious position.

This month we have two major arcana showing up, both depicting something to do higher purpose work.

No mistakes that I commenced this newsletter with the annual Comedy Gala fundraiser that the GENI Foundation is hosting for World Environment Day.

I am always highlighting special environmental dates in my newsletters, so that we can become aware of them and maybe do something towards making our planet earth, our home, a better place for all.

This is what arch-angel Gabriel in the Judgement card is calling us to do. To rise above our current circimstances and look at it from a bigger picture point of view. When we are only looking at ourselves and say things like, "Why is this happening to me?" or " Look at what they did to me." We are stuck in the box, depicted by the coffins in the picture. We have put ourselves in the box and only we can get ourselves out of the box.

The box or coffin represents whatever is holding us back, whatever is keeping us small. I get that the ego is actually protecting us all the time and can stop us from looking outside the box, because of the danger that the unknown may offer.

The Hierophant is asking us to balance our inner and outer worlds. We may be way to focussed inwardly and only thinking of ourselves and could be missing out on what is possible out there. We can learn from each other, we can tap into the abundant support networks, we can help others and in turn, help ourselves.

Remember, no man is an island, we all need each other. We are all on this one planet we call home, and when we look after her, we are looking after ourselves.

Or the other way around, we may be too focussed on the out there, greed and outer power becomes the all most important thing in our life. So, The Hierophant is asking us to look within, to check in with the self, what do your morals, principles and inner values have to say about how your life is going.

One thing I have learnt from The Hierophant experience, is that when you make other people happy, you are unhappy within. The Hierophant is asking us to look at both of these two sides of lives and bring it into balance.

Summary

Every now and then, we may experience something that makes us look up and out. We may be hurting or may be feeling alone and someone may appear in your life, right on time that says something to you that shakes you out of your rut and you begin to see things in different way.

Once you see the bigger picture, once you understand that we are all part of the eco system on planet earth, that we all need each other, you will change your behaviours. You may even become vegetarian, you may plant more flowers in your garden to attract more bees, you may voluneter your services or donate to a cause close to your heart. You will see that every little bit makes a difference, you will be more happier within and live a more balanced life.

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC @ MASTERSONS BAR
 

Thank you to everyone that kindly donated to our LunaBears for 2022!

We did something different this year, we met at a bar,  Mastersons Bar. We all brought a plate to share and it was lovely catching up with everyone. Those that couldn't make it, kindly donated.

      We raised $540 in October 2022

The funds raised goes directly to the Bear Sanctuary in Luang Prabang, Laos, through the Free The Bears organisation with the resolve to end Bear bile farming forever!
