Classes are all back in full swing with new students ready to delve into themselves and learn the mystical art of Tarot. I also miss all  my old students, trust everyone is doing well and continuing with their Tarot studies.
My Singapore classes are due to start in March. I run Tarot classes twice a year in Singapore. There is a March intake and then an August intake, followed by the Astrology classes in the September.
My Tarot Distinctions book will be 5 years old on the 8 March. Still selling in the marketplace, much more slowly now but the main thing is that its still selling. It is a book that will never date, because people will always want to learn Tarot.

 The month begins with the Sun in Pisces. Pisces brings a beautiful feeling of spirituality and intuition. Yet there is a feeling of tension in the air, the pressure is on us, this is because there are many outer planets moving into new signs.
Even so, this pressure is trying to get us to rise to a higher vibration, to a higher consciousness, also our connection with others and move these relationships to the next level as well. This is the challenge for us this entire month.
On the 2 March, there is Venus conjunct Jupiter in 12 degress Aries and Mercury conjunct Saturn in Aquarius at 29 degrees of Aquarius.

Note that Saturn is at 29 degrees of Aquarius, its in the last degrees. When planets are in the last degrees it creates this pressure and intensity. In Astrology this is called the Anaretic degree.
As Google best explains it:
Anaretic Degree - degrees from 29 degrees - 29 degrees 59 minutes and 59 seconds. Astrologers define this degree as the "Fate Degree" as these last degrees are considered problematic anaretic degrees can be defined as a "peak" it is the final point that a "degree" can reach before moving into the next sign.
Simply put, Mercury conjunct Saturn gives us structure of the mind. Saturn really gives us that focus to get the job done. You may really enjoy exerting yourself in cognitively demanding jobs, and you may require this to keep your mind occupied while working effectively.

You can relax with this combination of planets, since this energy makes it possible for you to find yourself, to believe in yourself, its time to reach out to the universe, and integrate with it.
You will find that your are meeting the right individuals you need to meet at this exact perfect moment and location for our greatest good. All of this will promote your ambitions, possibly even inspire fresh, innovative ideas. Early March offers us so much, so take it the another level.
 On 7 March, we have a Full Moon in Virgo. This Full Moon is opposing the Sun in Pisces, and square Mars in Gemini. This t-square provides a powerful energy boost to the Full Moon.
Due to the square of Mars in Gemini to the Full Moon in Virgo, there may be conflict, because Mars is known as the God of War. We need to be mindful of the shadow side of Virgo, which includes worrying, fear, critical thinking, excessive over-analysis, busy thinking, questioning why a lot, and the concern that you might miss out on something that is right in front of you.
The higher level of this Full Moon in Virgo involves doing good deeds, being modest and showing humility and carrying out the necessary tasks. Gemini's humour brings a unique type of communication and wit, spreading positive vibes and engaging in conversation with people wherever you go. This is the challenge for you with this Full Moon in Virgo.
 On 7 March, Saturn also enters Pisces, right on the Full Moon. Saturn is about to enter Pisces after spending the last couple years in Aquarius. What Neptune in Pisces has been attempting to bring about, Saturn in Pisces will now be able to establish and stabilise it.
The influence of Neptune in Pisces has greatly increased people's awareness of sympathy and empathy for individuals who have been victimised or bullied. Neptune in Pisces is attempting to make us more caring and sensitive to one another.
Saturn moving into Pisces will help you to become more stable and a super-power with your sensitivity, intuition and empathy, with that practical side of you to get through life successfully. Note, that as Neptune is also triggering Saturn's 29 anaretic degree, bringing that pressure and/or peak experience to your processes.
 On 21 March, we have a New Moon in Aries, it will be a super New Moon because it is also the Equinox and it will trigger the Aries Point. When any planet moves into 0 degrees of a Cardinal sign, it is known as the Aries Point.
When an Aries Point is activated, there is high visibility. It is a strong public endorsement, that makes us more noticeable. Being on your best behaviour is advisable because you will be seen. Yet, if you act in an unpleasant or dishonest manner, you will also be noticed. This New Moon will bring out the best or worst of you in the public view.
So be mindful around this New Moon, the main message of this New Moon is to be honest with your integrity, ethics, and ideals and to take responsibility for your actions. Keep your word and speak the truth.
 On 23 March, Pluto will enter Aquarius. It will move into this new sign for a couple of months and then retrograde back into Capricorn.
Note that Pluto is also at that 29 anaretic degree, which will put enormous pressure on all the hierarchical systems that are undergoing transformation as Pluto seeks to finish its transit through Capricorn. The strain is great.
Pluto is attempting to raise the level of cooperation to all power structures. Pluto in Aquarius will encourage a more humane outlook and the link between individuals. Typical Aquarian energy, we are all human and we are all related, so it doesn't matter who has the greatest wealth or power, who has the biggest house or the most educational credentials.

5 Clean Up Australia Day. First Sunday in March, when hundreds of thousands of Australians from Perth to Port Douglas get stuck in and clean up their local environment by collecting and removing rubbish.
6 - 12 National Ground Water Awareness Week, by letting others know the importance of groundwater and asking them to pass it along. GWAW provides an opportunity for people to learn about the importance of groundwater and how the resource impacts lives.
7 Full Moon in Virgo. A cleaning up and healthy mood.
8 International Women's Day.
11 - 21 Cultural Diversity Week. Victoria
13 Labour Day long weekend. Moomba festival in Melbourne. A weekend full of fun to celebrate coming together. Labour Day celebrates the achievements of workers advocating eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest.
14 Pi Day and Phi Approximation Day, are two unofficial holidays held to celebrate the mathematical constant π (pi).
16 National Close The Gap Day, thousands of Australians will take action to improve Indigenous health. Campaign has welcomed the COAG agreement to work in genuine partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the Refreshed Closing the Gap Strategy.
17 St Patrick's Day.
18 Global Recycling Day. A recycling initiative that encourages us to look at our trash in a new light.
18 Ceres Harvest Festival. 10am to 3pm. Celebrating and giving thanks to the good earth, our farmers and the cycle of the seasons.

Every month I turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.
I asked the Tarot, what is the energy for the month of March 2023? What do we need to be mindful of for this entire month?
I turned over The Sun in the Conscious position and The Hermit in the Unconscious position.
  Once again, we have 2 Major Arcana for the month of March. As per the Astrology this month, there are many intense transits happening, so I'm not surprised the Major Arcana are present.
The Sun is currently in Pisces at the moment, it does hold the energy of joy, and raising our energy to a higher level.
The Sun tarot card is about rebirth, a beginning of a new life-style perhaps, a time of feeling alive and there is a lot of happiness around that.
The Sun still sets boundaries, you can see the grey wall behind the Fool on the horse, he knows his limits now. The Horse is also grey in colour suggesting there is a rebirth into new higher wisdom and knowledge.
The Hermit carries on with this Wisdom, because he is dressed in all grey, wears the grey beard and he sees the light in the lamp that he is holding. He knows the path he has to take, it may be a lonely one. Perhaps he holds the light for others to follow as well.
The light in the lamp connects well with The Sun, he sees the new light. The staff that The Hermit holds is also gold in colour. It is in his left hand, suggesting he intuitively knows this higher knowledge and leans on it, he trusts it to move him forward.
Summary
Hold on your your insights, hold on to your youthfulness, this is when we allow ourselves to be open to new experiences. The Sun always is bright, joyousness and happy.
The Hermit knows to stay focused on this happiness. Doesn't matter how old we are, we all have that inner child that is joyous within us. Keep focused on your inner light!

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC @ MASTERSONS BAR

We did something different this year, we met at a bar, Mastersons Bar. We all brought a plate to share and it was lovely catching up with everyone. Those that couldn't make it, kindly donated.
We raised $540 in October 2022
The funds raised goes directly to the Bear Sanctuary in Luang Prabang, Laos, through the Free The Bears organisation with the resolve to end Bear bile farming forever!
