And to all those beautiful souls that assist me with my work, I wouldn't be able to do this work without you. You know who you are... Too many to mention here... I appreciate each and every one of you. May the Xmas break give you all a wonderful time-out with your family and loved ones, peace XOXO.

The month begins with the Sun and Mars moving into Sagitarius, which will bring a whole new refreshing energy through in December, and boy do we need this.
 On the 1st December we have Mercury entering Capricorn. Mercury will pass through the Aries point at 0 degrees of Capricorn. It will then Retrograde returning back into Sagittarius and reaching 0 degrees of Capricorn again on January 13, when it turns Direct.
What is an Aries Point?
Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn are all cardinal signs. When a planet travels through the zodiac and hits the 0 degrees mark of any of these cardinal signs, it activates the Aries Point. The energy of cardinal signs start the seasons. Cardinals signs are seen as leaders and self-starters, they initiate and have the drive to go and get it.
Therefore, its all about public awareness and projection, a door is opened onto the world's stage here, which means a gateway to information will be opened in order to advance matters, it will make itself easily visible and will be publicly projected.
What is really unusual is that Mercury will activate the Aries Point twice because of the retrograde cycle. Mercury is all about ideas, thoughts, imagination, the intellect and words. New ideas and new solutions are all possible during this time.
On the international scene, this could show up in the field of politics and resolving complicated matters, or it could show up in your own personal life by seeing things clearly and taking a whole new direction.
 On 13 December, Mercury will start the Retrograde phase and will go Direct on 1 January 2024. It's usually 3 weeks, I know, it always feels longer, lol!
~ 13 December - Mercury retrogrades in Capricorn.
~ 23 December - Mercury retrogrades back into Sagittarius.
~ 27 December - Mercury and Mars square Neptune in Sagittarius.
~ 1 January - Mercury goes direct in Sagittarius.
~ 27 January - Mercury and Mars conjunct in Capricorn.
Mercury's retrograde on 13 December marks the start of it all. This Mercury retrograde period is something to look forward to because it will be incredibly fruitful and creative, not just with your thinking and ideas, but also in your mental acuity, clarity and the level of creativity in your life. Capricorn is earthy therefore it will ground and practically manifest it.
The fact that Mercury will be retrograde over the holidays is fascinating, when we have a lot of free time on our hands and all the travel plans get into action. Taking that much needed break from work to unwind and enjoy the downtime. Love Mercury in retrogade during the holidays!
On 23 December, Mercury will retrograde back into Sagittarius right on Xmas. To me, this suggests that all the presents are all bought, beautifully wrapped up and placed perfectly underneath the Xmas tree. Now it's time to start preparing the scrumpteous food. The plans are set, we all know where will be and what will be doing, looking forward to the festivities.
On 27 December, Mercury and Mars conjunct in Sagittarius squaring Neptune in Pisces. The energy radically starts to shift here right on the eve of the New Years! Also note that Sagittarius and Pisces are both mutable signs, which means they are friendly, flexible and accommodating, they also share a belief system.
Be aware that there will be a lot of communication energy throughout this holiday season when family and friends gather together. Neptune brings innovation and creativity, thus this is the most positive way to play out this combination of planets. Neptune brings spiced up beautiful creative energy mixed in with tremendous ingenuity by Mercury and Mars.
On 1st January, Mercury goes direct in Sagittarius. I love that Mercury is going direct right on New Years Day right when we start the new year with our New Years Resolutions!
Mercury will activate all that clarity of the mind and thinking function. You will feel a sense of completion and satisfaction re what the opptunities of the year ahead brings for you.
On 27 January, Mercury and Mars conjunct in Capricorn. We get a second Mercury and Mars conjunction, this time it's in Capricorn.
The conjunction of Mercury and Mars is fascinating because it stimulates our thoughts, our mental processes and our communication. Sometimes this combination brings out our assertiveness, being forthright, it may even come across as aggressive. Afterall, Mars is the God of War, you could come across as argumentative and occasionally contentious, so be mindful you don't say something that you can not take back, be kind!
 On 12 December, we have a New Moon in Sagittarius. This New Moon will be with Mercury retrograde square Neptune. Sagittarius loves harmony, its the adventurer and traveller energy, loves to expand and explore new horizons.
The doorway to intuition has just been opened, hello! Powerful intuition will flow amazingly smoothly with instantaneous knowingness. You dont even know how you know but you will know. People find it difficult to comprehend this knowingness and to trust it, because there is no evidence to support it and back it up. If the door is open for you during this time, visions and thoughts will enter your mind as if it were a fully formed idea. I say trust it and flow with it and have fun with it.
 On 21 December, the Sun enters Capricorn hitting the Aries Point. A new season begins when the Sun crosses the Aries Point.
At the beginning of every new season the Aries Point is triggered and activated. It's a special and unique moment when knowledge and clarity can be readily revealed to you. Thus, depending on where you live, Northern or Southern Hemisphere. We will be celebrating this new season whether its the Winter/Summer season right on the Solstice on 21 December.
 On 26 December, we have a Full Moon in Cancer. This Full Moon is special and beautiful in a lot of ways. The three most important traits during this Full Moon time are incredible creative powers, psychic sensitivity, and emotional sensitivity.
We get to spend quality time and intimacy with our families during this Full Moon in Cancer, which adds to the emotional sensitivity. Hugs, gratitude, and intense emotions abound, whether they be from your biological family or those who you consider to be family. Cooking together, taking care of one another, and putting our tender, loving energy into all the food we prepare.
This is a highly powerful energy because Neptune will be square Mercury and Mars at this time, which intensifies all that psychic and spiritual sensitivity. Additionally, Mercury retrograde will be at work, enabling you to discover fresh insights and concepts.
This Full Moon in Cancer is extremely potent. Use this wonderful opportunity to meditate or be creative, receive any messages for enlightenment that wishes to emerge, The doors are open for you to receive immediate prophetic knowingness for immediate understanding. It's a beautiful spiritual time.

Every month, I turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.
These two Tarot cards are loaded on my Tarot Mastery private Facebook group for students of Tarot in Action to explore the meanings and share their insights.
I asked the Tarot cards: What is the energy for the month of December 2023?
What do we need to be mindful of for this entire month?
I turned over 4 of Cups in the Conscious position and The Empress in the Unconscious position.
  The first thing I notice that is similar between these two cards, is that they are both sitting back, laying back and relaxing.
They also both show a lots of trees, greenery and lush environments.
The 4 of Cups is so relaxed he doesn't even see the hand of Spirit offering him the 4th cup. Yet he is grounded and sitting back against the Tree of Life, which means he is earthed and seeing things in a very practical manner.
He may also be stuck, because his arms and legs are crossed, suggesting he is not letting any new energy in, nor letting any out. Can be seen as closed, refusing, holding on or holding something back, he is showing signs of being indifferent and apathetic.
It is also interesting that he wears the red shirt and blue leggings underneath the green vest, looks like he is covering up his deeper true passions and feelings about what he really wants.
The Empress, to me symbolises Xmas and New Years! Her energy is so abundant, contains unlimited possibilites, nurturing and loving, she absolutely loves the luxury!
What else can I say about The Empress showing up in this December issue. It is perfect! We all go overboard at Xmas time, heaps of food, spending heaps of money on presents. Then there is the Holidays!
Summary...
There is a relaxed feeling in the beginning of the month, the 4 of Cups is covering all those passionate ideas and surprises underneath his shirt, like its all bubbling away underneath the surface leading up to Xmas and New Years and then sharing all that abundant unconditional energy with loved ones!
We will have a Full Moon in Cancer over the Xmas period. Cancer is all about family love, food and sitting around the table enjoying the feasts, just like The Empress offering all that loving emotional nurturing feeling. Enjoy yourselves and make it memorable!

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC
 The date was set for the 2023 Annual LunaBears picnic. Thank you to Mastersons Bar for holding a fabulous space for our picnic. A much heartfelt thank you to all that attended and thank you to everyone that contributed.
We raised $690 in October 2023
The funds raised go directly to the Bear Sanctuary in Luang Prabang, Laos, through the Free The Bears org with the resolve to end Bear bile farming forever!
