It's October again!

I am always looking forward to October every year, not only because the weather starts to get warmer and the flowers start to bloom, but also because its the 10th month.

Number 10/1 is the number of planting new seeds and new beginnings. I am so aware of having the best October every year because its a prelude into the new year that we are heading into. In other words, you have a great October and you will have a great 2022!

Astrologically, 3 major outer planets are all moving Direct this month, so even the planets are saying its time to get moving again. By the end of the month there will be a gush of forward motion happening in all areas. Read more in my Astrology section below.

1. Astrological Report For October

October is very important month, with spectacular astrological patterns commencing with 3 major outer planets all moving Direct, along with Mercury, hope you have been preparing for this action oriented month ahead!

Pluto goes Direct on 6 October, Saturn on 10 October, Jupiter on 18 October along with Mercury. You will feel an incredible release of tension and frustration and the urge is to move forward.

This is the month that you feel this forward moving and advancement happening, whether its within you and/or in in the outer world.

This release of tension you feel is like holding back the bow and arrow just before you let it go. Every muscle within you is trembling and then, the release. This is what these major outer planets feel like when they end their retrograde phase in the same month.

On 6 October we have a New Moon in Libra on the same day as Pluto in Capricorn ends its retrograde cycle. This is really important because the Sun, Moon and Mars will be all conjunct in Libra.

The theme for this culmination of planets in Libra is all about "Justice." Justice needs to be seen to be done.

There are a few issues before the courts at the moment that quickly come to mind, eg: Britney Spears and the conservatorship with her father. In Victoria, WorkSafe is taking the Vic Health Department to courts. R Kelly rap artist is being convicted and the search for Gabby Petito continues.

Pay close attention to how you are feeling around this New Moon in Libra, it is a very powerful New Moon with planet Pluto dredging up the unseen from the unconscious material, so we can be conscious of it, clear things up and heal with it.

On 20 October we have Full Moon in Aries. At the same time as Jupiter is going Direct and Mercury going Direct as well.

What makes this Full Moon in Aries even more incredibly potent, is the conjunction of Sun and Mars in Libra opposing the Full Moon in Aries with the dwarf planet Eris sitting very close. And it is all in a t-square with Pluto in Capricorn, making it even more dynamic and powerful.

Eris, when first discovered in 2005 was called "Xena" warrior woman like in the show that Lucy Lawless (appropriate name) played. Its is a dwarf planet, orbits from beyond Neptune Kuiper Belt. Eris deals with Chaos, the feminine version of Mars, another warrior planet. It stirs things up and activates great change.

~ Eris is why Pluto got demoted. ...
~ Eris was almost considered our 10th planet. ...
~ The discovery of Eris lead to the classification of 'Dwarf Planets'. ...
~ It was named after the Greek goddess of chaos. ...
~ Eris was first nicknamed “Xena”. ...
~ Eris has only one moon.

Be mindful how you are managing your anger and frustrations, are they in the constructive way? Turn your frustrations into positive beneficial energy.

Take your frustrations to a safe place where you can release the tensions and become more powerful. Eg: Go to the gym, ride a bike, weight-lift, actually moving your muscles. It's important to move the warrior energy within you in an authentic way.

2. Tarot Cards Answer the Question of the Month...

Every month I turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.

I asked the Tarots what is the flavour for this month of October, what do we need to be aware of for this month?

I turned over Page of Pentacles in the Conscious position and 10 of Wands in the Unconscious position.

Both of these cards have to do with new beginnings. Note it is also the 10th month, the number 10/1 of beginning new things on the next level.

Also, 3 major outer planets are moving Direct another indication that its time to get on with it.

We have the Page of Pentacles planting new seeds in things we hold of value, and the 10 of Wands discards what is no longer relevant and continuing the journey with a not only a lighter load, but a more efficient one.

The Page of Pentacles is ready to get his hands into it, not afraid to get his hands dirty. Whatever he makes grow is of value to him and its worth putting in all the effort.

Investing in something that will grow for you, whether its education or set up new savings accounts or a new healthy fitness regime.

Hopefully during lock-down you have put in the efforts needed to educate yourself by reading books and listening to loads of podcasts so you are ready to make a move when the restrictions lift.

The 10 of Wands is ready to do things in a smarter way. The load is too heavy to carry and the time has come to get more focused, to hone into what you have worked so hard to do.

If you don't let things go, it will continue to weigh heavy on you, you will suffer from sore neck and shoulders through to a crooked back, ouches!

Get ready for new changes whether its in your home living style, or your work environment, through to lock-down restrictions lifting.

The Page of Pentacles for this month connects me to spring. The seeds you planted are starting to sprout and the potential is a very lush growth. 

10 of Wands suggests a spring cleaning time to become clear in the direction you want to go in. You have worked hard and its time to shake off the excess and go for what you are aiming for. You are up-skilled enough and you know you are ready.

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC
 

In 2020, we didn't get to gather for the Annual LunaBears Picnic, but it didn't stop us raising the funds.

The funds raised go to the Bear Sanctuary in Luang Prabang, Laos, through the Free The Bears with the resolve to end Bear bile farming forever!
 

We raised $480 in 2020!
 

All the funds go towards, medicine, rescues, food, upkeep, you name it there is a lot of work that needs doing and all that costs money.
