The flavour for the month of May every Year is all about love!

We begin with Global Love Day on 1st May. In the Northern Hemsiphere it also marks the beginning of Spring and Love is in the air!

We also have Mothers Day, when we show our love and respects to Mum. There is Star Wars Day and World Laughter Day, then there is World Bee Day and World Tarot Day too. There is plenty to love and rejoice about in May.

This time last year, we were in total lock down in Victoria Australia. I love how one year on we are able to celebrate with each other once again. We still have to take a lot of care, yet we are open for business.

Very strong Mercury Gemini influence for this month, read more in my Astrological Forecast below.

New class dates and times are also listed below, albeit many of my classes are on Zoom, but this has opened it up for people interstate to join in as well.

1. Astrological Report For May

Mercury and Gemini are strongly highlighted for this month.

On 5 May, Mercury will move into its home sign of Gemini. Mercury, the messenger of the Gods, rules our intellect and our communication. Mercury will remain in Gemini until the 22 July, because it will go Retrograde at the end of this month, so it will have a long run in Gemini.

Be mindful that your rational thinking function is going to be triggered, also Mercury rules our nervous system and we may feel things moving quickly in this area of your life as well.

A really positive outlook or experience of Mercury in Gemini is to tap into your intellect and see what bubbles up. You may feel the urge to draw or to write something, to study a new course or read a book.

You may experience an epiphany, your may find you are expressing yourself more easily or you are able to resolve an issue, problem solved! Or for some people they just want to catch up for a chat. It's all about communication!

On 9 May, Venus will move into Gemini. Venus the Goddess of love and beauty will follow her friend Mercury into Gemini as well.

Venus will further enhance all that communication energy. Maybe Venus will bring through more of the socialising aspects, celebrating with your friends and family.

All that mental acuity is being tested here. Venus in Gemini can get bored easily, so arrange many fun activities and watch how Venus turns the ho-hum every day into something beautiful and special.

The negative of Venus in Gemini is gossiping. So be mindful you don't get caught up in this wasteful energy.

On 11 May, we have the New Moon in Taurus.  I love it when the Moon is in Taurus, whether its a New Moon or a Full Moon. Taurus is ruled by Venus and this Goddess loves all the finer things of life.

This New Moon is exactly what we need especially with all that strong Mercury Venus in Gemini currently going on.

The New Moon in Taurus is giving us a breathier here, we can tap into that earthy aspect of Taurus and just slow down and become quiet and still amidst all that flurry of mental activity.

On 13 May, Jupiter nudges its way into Pisces.  Yep, all the good fortune, growth and expansion energy of Jupiter will start pouring into all you Pisceans out there.

But it will only be for 3 months because it will Retrograde back into Aquarius until mid Oct. Then it has to move forward again before it hits Pisces again in the new year.

Jupiter used to rule Pisces before Neptune was discovered, so it's a classical combination and its very content to visit Pisces.

Jupiter and Pisces are both mutable energies, just like Mercury and Gemini are. There is a lot more opportunity to tap into the fluid and flexibility energy, you may feel more forgiving, have more compassion and things should be flowing really well right about now. 

On 26 May, we have a Full Moon Eclipse in Sagittarius. This is also the last Super Moon for the year.

Sagittarius is the polarity of Gemini, so all the Mercury, Sun and Venus in Gemini is being triggered here once again.

A very delightful and productive time, because Sagittarius is a fiery active energy, so expect things to get moving and accomplished.

Sagittarius loves to widen the horizons, so its a fabulous time to expand the belief system, to explore new adventures and to socialise with different groups of people.

Just don't get into the negative self-fulfilling prophecy, turn that story into possibility, get clear with your thoughts and engage in higher communication skills, like meditation!

2. Tarot Cards Answer the Monthly Question...

Every month I turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.

This month I asked the Tarots about Love. We have Mothers Day, Global Love Day even World Tarot Day: What spiritual guidance does the Tarot give us for this month?

I turned over 10 of Swords in the Conscious position and Queen of Swords in the Unconscious position.
 

Both Sword cards!

I was expecting more easy flowing cards around the subject of Love, yet we have Swords, so lets unpack this and see what the Tarot is telling us.

10 of Swords, immediately I feel a release. Whatever I was holding on too, this card is telling me to let it go.

The issue is over, the matter is at rest. You can see he is doing the peace sign with his right conscious active hand. All that red flowing out of him is the life force, the ego energy. It suggests that the mental anguish is over as if the batteries are dead and there is no more charge left.

You can also see the blue water in the distance is calm and still, there is no ripple at all. The emotions are calm and rested. The dark sky is lifting and the new dawn is rising. The yellow along with the Swords connects us with the mental, the intellect, new thoughts, new ideas are coming through.

The No 10 is all about beginning another new cycle. You have come full circle and ready to begin again the new round or go up onto another level.

The Queen of Swords is showing her authority, look at how her Sword is standing straight up and the tip of the sword is in the picture.

~ Maybe this card is saying once we have resolved your issue it will bring clarity for you.
~ Maybe you have needed the expertise of a professional to get you through it.
~ Maybe there is peace with making a decision, it may not be the exact decision to make, but you are pleased that you have made it.

Once we have love and have experienced love in our lives, we need to protect it for it is very fragile. The Queen of Swords is very cautious with who she lets into her life, she knows how to protect herself, and her loves in her world.
 

In Summary, in relation to the question...
 

10 of Swords is reminding us that every day is a new day to start over. Whatever issue you were going through has come to an end. It is done and dusted and get yourself ready to begin again anew.

The Queen of Swords is making a stand for what she believes in, and it is love. This is an action of love, to protect what you believe in.

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC

In 2020, we didn't get to gather for this years Annual LunaBears Picnic, but it didn't stop us raising the funds.

The funds is for the Bear Sanctuary in Luang Prabang, Laos, through the Free The Bears with the resolve to end Bear bile farming forever!
 

We raised $480 in 2020!
 

All the funds go towards, medicine, rescues, food, upkeep, you name it there is a lot of work that needs doing and all that costs money.
