1. Astrological Report For June

On the 6 June, we start the month with a Full Moon Eclipse in Sagittarius. The other dynamic connection making this Full Moon Eclipse even more powerful and intense is the T-square with The Sun, The Moon and Neptune.

Sagittarius is a very objective energy and when you combine this with the Full Moon, the Eclipse and the T-square it is highlighting the need for us to be more open-minded, to elevate our mode of thinking, move to a higher consciousness and out of our old fossilised belief systems.

On 18 June good ol' Mercury is going Retrograde in Cancer and remaining Retrograde until mid July. Once again our emotions are under review.

Time to review our thinking. Are we being to emotional which could be blurring our thinking?

Instead of thinking of Mercury Retrograde as something going wrong or its going to break, why not look at it as a "breakthrough" an exciting time to rethink everything and creative positive results in the world.
 

On 21 June we have a New Moon Eclipse 0 degrees in Cancer. This 0 degrees also activates the Aries Point. The Aries Point has nothing to do with Aries, but it does have to do with an emergence of some sort. Expect an incredible visibility of sorts, something will come into view, something will be revealed.

Here in the Southern Hemisphere this New Moon Eclipse also lands exactly on the Winter Solstice (in the Northern Hemisphere its there Summer Solstice). This heralds the new season.

On a personal level, its about looking at our own feelings and emotional patterns. What will be revealed for us to look at? Only then can you change, develop and grow. Dr Phil says "You can't change what you don't acknowledge."

In the outer world, what will come into public view? Look out for some big announcement, maybe about the virus, maybe about politics?

On 25 June Venus will go Direct in Gemini. Venus has been Retrograde since 13 May. Venus the planet of love, beauty and social harmony has been about us reviewing not only our personal patterns, but our relationships and social connections.

And how perfect has it been due to this self-isolation retreating time, we have had to communicate with each other in other creative ways, like using Zoom, or talking through windows, and lots has been happening on Tik Tok too!

Now that Venus is going Direct, expect some beautiful insights and resolutions to some of these relationship issues, and whatever you have been internalising during this retreat time will be revealed now.

On 28 June we have Mars moving into his own home sign of Aries. Mars is all about your energy and that masculine action planet, and the sign of Aries is a Cardinal Fire energy. This is a full on dynamic time, very exciting time because its a highly motivating energy.

On a personal level, you may have the energy to go, go and go! You will feel the surge and have the motivation to proceed. On a global scale, this may play out as a relax on the lock-downs and we have some sense of normality returning.

Mars will remain in Aries until mid January 2021, we will have this full on strong action energy available to us until then, so get ready because the time is nigh!

5  UN World Environment Day, established by the UN in 1972. Green organizations use this day to promote local environment initiatives and focus on global issues.
5 - 8  Melbourne Mind Body & Spirit Festival. CANCELLED FOR JUNE 2020. Although Readings are on Zoom, taking bookings now. This event is now Free but you still have to register for your ticket on the Mind Body Spirit Festival website: www.mbsfestival.com.au
6  Full Moon in Sagittarius. An adventurous mood.
8  World Ocean Day, started at the 1992 Rio De Janiero Earth Summit, is a global celebration of the planet's marine environment.
8  Queen's Birthday. Long weekend and official opening of Ski season weekend.
14  Flag Day.
15  Global Wind Day.
17 World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, to draw attention to efforts to eradicate poverty, achieve sustainable development and reach the UN's eight Millennium Development Goals.
21  New Moon in Cancer. A sentimental mood.
21  International Day of Yoga.
21 Winter Solstice and Yule (Wiccan/Pagan). Here in the Southern Hemisphere we celebrate the Winter Solstice. For us it is the longest night and the shortest day. For those that like to celebrate Yule presents are exchanged and everyone sits up all night to welcome the morning Sun.

2. Turn Over Two Tarot Cards to Answer the Monthly Question

Every Month I like to turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.

This month my question is, what does self-isolation and planets in Retrograde have in common? I turned over Knight of Wands in the Conscious position and 7 Swords in the Unconscious position.

The Knight of Wands  looks so handsome on his beautiful horse,  he is conscious of his skills and talents, he makes it look so easy.

The Knight of Wands says to me, even though we have been self-isolating, doesn't mean we have been idle. It looks like things as still happening, maybe different things, maybe working even harder.

In the unconscious position the 7 of Swords tells me there is a lot of confusion around, uncertainty and indecisions. People may be feeling directionless and not know which way to go, through to having nightmares, and still holding a fear of stepping outdoors.

The 7 of Swords does not only mean someone out there is ripping you off, you may be self sabotaging your self and not sleeping properly, not regenerating, therefore not running at your optimum.
 

The Knight of Wands is going somewhere, he is very active and on course. I believe having a plan and strategy is imperative in any enterprise. There has to be a goal and the steps toward that goal.

The 7 of Swords is showing us that without a plan, preparation, goals strategies and holding the right intention, you will never get there, you will never achieve your goal.

In Summary, in relation to the question...

What does all this have to to with planets in Retrograde? Well, when a planet Retrogrades, (currently there are 4 planets Retrograde, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto. By June another 2 planets will Retrograde, Mercury and Uranus, totaling of 6 planets), the energy of the planet does not change, but the action does.

The energy is turned inwardly for example, Mercury is the planet of communication. Turn this energy inwardly and you may have the need to write more, to journal, to do creative writing, to paint, to create, to meditate.

During this self-isolation time, we have been forced to turn inward, forced to look within, to be with our family, to work from home, to support teaching our children from home.

I believe a lot of new and fantastic creative ideas are going to flow from this self-isolation/Retrograde period.

The next questions you have to ask yourself are:  How have I recreated myself? What new idea am I bringing forth? Am I going in the direction I want to go? If not, what do I have to research and review to get on the right track?

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC

In 2020, it will be the 13th year of us gathering for this Annual LunaBears Picnic.

Every year we get together to donate funds to the Bear Sancutary in Luang Prabang, Laos, through the Free The Bears organisation with the resolve to end Bear bile farming forever!
 

We raised $340 in 2019!

We each contribute a little and together we make a huge difference. All the funds go towards, medicine, rescues, food, upkeep, you name it there is a lot of work that needs doing and all that costs money.
