 We are currently in Aquarius season. Aquarius season runs from 20 January through to 19 February. It is an air element, a fixed sign and is ruled by the planet Uranus.
Along with the Sun in Aquarius, we currently have Mercury and Pluto also in Aquarius.
The Aquarius energy is all about innovation, independence, and big-picture thinking. It’s a time for shaking things up, Aquarius can be radical, rebellious and revolutionary.

Venus Conjunct Neptune
 On 1 February, the planet Venus will conjunct Neptune in Pisces. This is a wonderful flow of energy of grace, faith and compassion. It emphasises the potential for profound creative channelling, meditation, and opening up to your intuition. Venus will go retrograde, so on 27 March, they will conjunct once more.
This is truly glorious energy to experience. Therefore, during this time, align yourself with this peaceful and profound energy and channel your grace, forgiveness, and compassion.
We are all a part of the universe, therefore you are not separate from it. Whatever you call it, be it the unified field or the river of life, align your spiritual path with it, trust the flow of life, which will be particularly powerful this month.
Juipter Goes Direct
 On 4 February, Jupiter ends its retrograde cycle and goes direct in Gemini and Venus also enters Aries. Jupiter will swiftly pass through Gemini before moving into the next sign of Cancer. When Jupiter goes direct it will release this communication-related energy, blending it with spiritually intuitive flow.
Venus enters Aries at 0 degrees on this same day. When any planet hits the 0 degrees of any cardinal sign, it is referred to as an Aries Point. It activates a point of great visibility. Because it is Venus, it is all that Venusian energy that wants to be noticed, which is beauty, grace and harmony mixed in with all that Aries charming masculine and magnetic energy, so be mindful to act with high integrity.
Because Venus will retrograde through its Aries transit, it will hit this Aries Point three times, on 4 February, 29 March and 1 May which also happens to be World Love Day! Grace, harmony, and all of that Aries' alluring energy wants to be highly visible during this period; it will come forth because this energy wants to be seen. You'll want to act since you will be feeling bolder and more self-assured.
Full Moon in Leo
 On 12 February, we have a Full Moon in Leo. Everything that Venus in Aries is attempting to convey—action, self-assurance, and physical strength—will be supported by this Full Moon in Leo.
What makes this Full Moon in Leo and even more potent is because the Sun will be conjunct Mercury and square the planet Uranus. All of this means is that we must think and speak in a way that reflects our confidence and uniqueness.
This Leo Full Moon will highlight quality and having an own spirited ways of thinking. It will want you to challenge the norms, challenge the collective mindset, and truly understand your own thoughts and desires. Mercury and Uranus are air elements they will always love to throw in that mental risk-taking, with courage and adventure.
Mars Goes Direct
 On 24 February, the planet Mars goes Direct in Cancer. We have experienced a lengthy period of growth and awareness of how to take care of ourselves and how to provide others this same caring energy while Mars has been transitting Cancer. Mars will move into Leo on 18 April.
More significantly, Mars in Cancer has been teaching us how to adapt to changing circumstances. We will now move forward and take confident action now that Mars has turned direct, but be mindful of our sensitivities, so be sure to do so while staying centred and grounded in yourself.
New Moon in Pisces
 On 28 January, we have a New Moon in Pisces. With six planets in the sign of Pisces, this New Moon will also be notable, its quite significant, its making a big statement. We have Neptune, North Node, Mercury, Saturn, New Moon and the Sun all sitting together in Pisces. Mars in Cancer is Trine to Saturn and Mercury, then Uranus in Taurus is Sextile to Saturn and Mercury as well.
Because the North Node is involved and conjuncts the planet Neptune, which rules Pisces, this New Moon in Pisces is extremely powerful. Its asking us that we should internalise and integrate the lessons that the Neptune transit has been attempting to teach us about unconditional love, compassion, and accepting others without conditions. It also means that we should tap into grace and the frequency of love.
Take advantage of this unique opportunity to align yourself with these higher vibrations during this Pisces New Moon. Explore spiritual activities such as yoga or meditation, take a stroll in the park, or use your creativity to actively engage in this palpable spiritual flow.

Every month, I turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.
These two Tarot cards are also loaded on my Tarot Mastery private Facebook group for students of Tarot in Action to explore the meanings and share their insights with others.
~ I asked the Tarot cards what is the energy for the whole month of February 2025?
~ What do we need to be mindful of, so we can make the most out of it?
The The Sun is in the Conscious position, and Six of Cups is in the Unconscious position.
  Summary...
Interesting combination for this month. The Sun indicates a joyous, bright and what looks like happy days ahead, feeling in charge and moving forward with confidence.
But the Six of Cups may be indicating that there is a sleight of hand happening in the unconscious or beneath what one can see, so be mindful that everything may not be as rosy as one first thought.
The Sun
What a glorious card, everyone always has a wonderful feeling about this card. On the surface everything looks peachy, the Sun is shining and we have blue skies.
We have a child riding a horse, no need for reigns because he is totally balanced and in charge. He is in front of the grey wall which represents societies conditions, but this child is not held back by these limitations any more, he is reborn therefore representing self-mastery.
The Sun is masculine positive energy, the Sun makes everything on this card grow, we have nature represented by the sun flowers, animals as shown by the horse and us humans. The horse also represents your vehicle in life and a forward movement, suggesting it is happening right now.
Six of Cups
The Six of Cups always looks pretty, but if you peel it back, things don't really look as they seem. Some questions you can ask are: Where are the green undulating hills? Where is the red roof showing love and desires in the home? Where is the bubbling brook running past the home?
The first thing you notice is that the buildings are painted with this golden hue, as if it is harking us back to a golden era. There are gapping holes on the grey roof and what is it with those tiny black windows. Then we have all the flowers potted in vases as if they are controlled or artificial.
The little boy is handing one of these vases to the little girl as if he is trying to show her something, but she is so protected with her shawl around her head, her apron and gloves that she does not see it. Maybe she needs to protect herself, she may be feeling uncertain and unsure.
Then there is the grey pillar behind the little boy showing the Cross of Martyrdom, which is a bleak symbol. Followed by what looks like a guard walking away. Who is he really? If he is a guard, he seems to turn his back on the situation.

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC
 Another annual LunaBears picnic was held. we have been gathering since 2007.
Thank you to Mastersons Bar for looking after us. Heartfelt thank you to all that attended and to everyone that contributed. 16 people in total contributed this year, it means a lot to our furry friends!
We raised $780 in October 2024
For 2025, the LunaBears annual picnic will gather again at Mastersons Bar.
The funds raised go directly to the Bear Sanctuary in Luang Prabang, Laos, through the Free The Bears org with the resolve to end Bear bile farming forever!
